Eli  Aaron Gause was born at 2:04 pm 11/5/2014.  He was 4lbs 5oz, 16.5" long.  We were able to give him a name and blessing.  Each of our intermediate family members were able to hold him, snuggle him, and gave him kisses.  We got pictures, we were able dress him in his Team Gause shirt.  The delivery was hard and exhausting but Brooke is in good spirits.  He was called to serve at 6:55pm to begin his mission on the other side.  Thank you all for your love, prayers, and faith.  We felt it!  The Lord gave and the Lord hath taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord.

  2. Eli is gorgeous! I agree with Bree- I feel a sense of reverence that you have shared these images. You have been in the hearts and minds of so many of us. I am not the only one that has felt so grateful that your family had this time together yet had a very heavy heart that it was so short. We continue to pray for your peace and healing even as we've been inspired by your beautiful faith.
