Here is a piece of our yard in the middle of May (I know, I'm a little behind with the updates).  I think these garden boxes are  amazing!!!  I also love the pathway around them!

Here is Katelyn with Miss Wilkinson at the end of school.  She is seriously an amazing woman!  She was such an amazing teacher and we will both miss her!!

Here are a few pictures of Ethan at his preschool program.  He was soooo adorable!  He also has amazing teachers (Miss Karen and Miss Amy) and will be going back in August. Thank goodness for these women who were born with a gift to teach preschool.  They did such a great job and I'm sure they were exhausted every single day!

Well... it's been forever since I blogged... I have been thinking a lot about the recent events in Colorado and wonder what I should be doing about all of the commotion in the world. This world can be scary and unsafe, but we have to go on with our lives and not let the adversary cripple us with fear or hopelessness.  We have a voice too and God's team will win in the end.  Even with this reassurance, I still felt the need to DO something.  This is what I can do:

J. Edgar Hoover said that “the cure of crime is not the electric chair but the high chair”

A woman teaches priorities by precept and example. Recently I watched a television program in which a female lawyer was being interviewed. She was at home with her child on a full-time basis. When asked of her decision, she replied, “Oh, I may go back to the law sometime, but not now. For me, the issue is simple. Any lawyer could take care of my clients, but only I should be the mother of this child.” (taken from a talk by Russell M Nelson in 1989).
